Meet Our Founder & Executive Director
Driven by faith and a firsthand understanding of life’s hardest chapters, Katrina Marshall founded Vision of Love Transitional Housing to be a sanctuary of transformation. Witnessing her own family’s struggle with addiction and instability, Katrina developed an unshakable resolve to serve those often left behind. She created Vision of Love to provide the very things she saw were missing: structure, compassion, and a clear path to dignity.

Katrina’s work is deeply rooted in her local church and community, where she translates her personal history into purposeful action. Whether she is organizing meal drives or mentoring residents, her goal remains the same: to cultivate lasting change. For Katrina, success isn’t just about temporary housing—it’s about strengthening the fabric of families and the broader community, one fresh start at a time.

A staunch advocate for sustainable homeownership, Katrina also leverages her personal experience with the NACA Housing Program to empower her residents. Having navigated the program herself, she is dedicated to introducing and guiding her tenants through the process of securing their own homes. By bridging the gap between transitional living and permanent ownership, Katrina ensures that those in her care have the tools and mentorship necessary to achieve the ultimate goal of stability and legacy for their families.

Thomas J
Thomas J. is the Vice President of Vision of Love Transitional Housing, a nonprofit dedicated to providing structured support for men transitioning toward independence. Thomas plays a pivotal role in the organization’s strategic planning and operational growth, focusing on programs that promote financial literacy, accountability, and employment readiness. A firm believer that stability begins with a safe home, Thomas works tirelessly to cultivate community partnerships and ensure that Vision of Love remains a beacon of hope and a model of fiscal integrity.

Nikkia Hester is the Treasurer of Vision of Love, bringing a specialized background in financial rehabilitation and debt management to the leadership team. Known for her focus on accountability and transparency, Nikkia oversees the organization’s fiscal health to ensure maximum impact for the community. A passionate advocate for at-risk youth and the homeless, she combines her professional financial discipline with a life-long commitment to service, ensuring that Vision of Love remains a sustainable and trusted resource for those in transition.
